Coach Klayman has been featured on ESPN for his innovative drills as well as Cole Doyle, voted 2022’s NEC Player of the Year and a Walter Payton Award Finalist (D1 FCS’s version of the Heisman Trophy). But it’s Coach K’s blend of cutting edge, practical teaching techniques refined over two decades of private training that has helped him produce one success story after another. Add his many years of experience as an Offensive Coordinator and/or QB Coach at the College and HS Level (LA Valley College, Village Christian HS, Hoover HS, John Burroughs HS) and his QBs develop the tools they need to compete and succeed at every level.

His personally tailored programs (QBRx) are designed to strengthen the mental and physical skills needed by Quarterbacks to maximize their potential. His time tested key to progress is to focus his Qs on achieving one accomplishable goal at a time, helping players develop a sustainable work ethic along the way.

Starting with his son, Cole, and followed by the acclaimed Cole Doyle and Zack Chevalier (2024’s #1 rated passer in college football), Coach K has distinguished himself among colleagues by successfully helping even undersized but determined QBs achieve their goals from the youth level all the way up to the NCAA’s exclusive Division 1 ranks.

HOW I GOT STARTED

Every well meaning friend and colleague told me not to waste my time coaching my son, Cole, to play quarterback — too short, too stocky, will be moved to linebacker in high school for sure. They were wrong. A little over 5’11” when he finally stretched out, Cole Klayman out-performed all the prototypical competitors a school like Notre Dame (SO) attracts, winning the coveted starting job at one of America’s most distinguished high school football programs, earning MVP Honors (Offense) as a Senior. Cole then went to set a handful of passing records at El Camino College, including #1 QBR in the CCCAA, before earning a NCAA D1 Scholarship offer to Abilene Christian University.

DEVELOPING QBS

G.i.A Group, semi-privates and private Training

Privates and Semi-Privates are generally 1 hour sessions. Group Sessions are generally 2 hours long, but it varies depending on numbers. Sessions are usually held in Burbank, but Coaches are willing to travel if your Student-Athlete is dedicated and the rate is agreeable.
